Doorbell units are smart home security devices that allow homeowners to monitor their entrance and receive notifications when someone approaches or rings the bell. We all have important responsibilities, such as work or taking care of our loved ones, making it difficult to stay at home at all times to prevent burglaries. However, the Doorbell offers a reliable solution. It creates the impression that someone is present, effectively deterring intruders even when no one is actually there. By integrating artificial intelligence algorithms, the Provision-ISR Doorbell can analyze and interpret video, offering more advanced capabilities and functionality.
The Provision-ISR Doorbell operates essentially like a security camera, recording video both during the day and at night, using infrared LED sensors or white light, and capturing audio through a built-in speaker and microphone. When connected to an NVR, footage is stored on the device, while in standalone mode, recordings are stored locally on a microSD card.
Face Detection / Recognition
When installed as a standalone device, the Doorbell can distinguish a human face from other objects without identifying the specific individual, offering face detection capabilities and sending push notifications to your smartphone accordingly.
When connected to an NVR with Provision-ISR’s DDA technology, its capabilities go a step further—detecting a face and identifying who the person is.
The detected face is compared with the face database stored in the NVR. It can identify specific individuals captured by the camera, allowing homeowners to receive alerts when a recognized person appears at the door or even unlock the door for a family member using the Provision Cam2 mobile app.
Door Control
You can eliminate the need for keys when your Doorbell is properly connected.
There are two ways to open the door:
A) Use an RFID card (3 are included in the Doorbell kit), as the device is equipped with a proximity sensor.
B) Ring the bell to notify the occupants, who can then unlock the door remotely using the Provision Cam2 Mobile App. The Smart Doorbell is designed to be user-friendly.
Two-Way Communication
Homeowners can communicate with visitors through their mobile devices using the built-in microphone and speaker.
This is a convenient feature when you are away from home, expecting deliveries, or dealing with unexpected visitors. With noise suppression and echo cancellation technology, you can enjoy clear and uninterrupted conversations.
