Signal Electronics Security, official distributor of Provision-ISR, presented the new PoE switch PoES-08120C+2GI.
Unit features 8 PoE ports with 100 Mbps speed, which is more than sufficient considering that the majority of cameras on the market do not exceed 10 Mbps.
Additionally, they include 2 independent 1000 Mbps ports for uplink functionality. They provide an average power output of 15W and a maximum of 30W per output channel, in accordance with IEEE802.3af/at standards. With CCTV mode, they extend the camera-to-switch distance from 100 meters up to 250 meters (at 10 Mbps), while the VLAN function isolates communication between PoE ports for enhanced cybersecurity.
